DIY Fix Check for water in base and dry

1. Turn off and unplug the dishwasher.
2. Shut off the water supply to the dishwasher.
3. Carefully pull the dishwasher out if possible and tilt slightly backward to see if water drains from the base.
4. Use towels or a sponge to absorb any water in the base tray and allow several hours of drying.

DIY Fix Inspect visible hoses and connections

1. With power off and water supply shut, inspect inlet and drain hoses for kinks, disconnections, or signs of leaks.
2. Check door seal and lower tub seams for signs of water escape into the base.
3. Straighten or reseat hoses and tighten clamps as needed.

Technician Only Test and/or replace anti‑flood float switch

1. Access the dishwasher base by removing panels.
2. Test float switch continuity with a multimeter.
3. Replace the float switch assembly if defective.

Parts needed: anti‑flood float switch assembly

Technician Only Locate and repair internal leaks

1. Remove panels to inspect internal plumbing, pump seals, and connections.
2. Identify leak source such as hose clamp failure, pump gasket leak, or tub crack.
3. Replace/repair defective components and reassemble.
