DIY Fix Basic Reset and Observation

1. Turn off the oven at the circuit breaker or unplug for at least 60 seconds.
2. Restore power and observe if the F3 code returns during normal use.

DIY Fix Preliminary Sensor Inspection

1. Disconnect power to the oven.
2. Open the oven door and visually inspect the temperature sensor (usually a metal probe in the rear oven cavity) for visible damage.
3. If accessible, check that the sensor wiring harness is securely connected.

Technician Only Test/Replace Temperature Sensor

1. Disconnect power and access the sensor by removing the rear access panel or interior screws.
2. Disconnect the sensor harness and test resistance with a multimeter.
3. Replace the sensor if resistance is out of range or if open circuit.
4. Reassemble and test oven operation.

Technician Only Inspect/Repair Wiring and Control Board

1. Visually inspect wiring harnesses for breaks, burns, or loose terminals.
2. Repair or replace damaged wiring as needed.
3. If the sensor tests within specifications and wiring is intact, evaluate control board input circuit for failure and replace board if required.
