DIY Fix Basic drainage checks and reset

1. Turn off and unplug the washer
2. Check for visible kinks or bends in the drain hose and straighten them
3. Ensure drain hose is at correct height per installation instructions
4. Run a drain or spin cycle to see if issue persists

DIY Fix Clean drain pump filter

1. Unplug washer and place towel or shallow container beneath drain filter access
2. Open filter access panel (usually at lower front)
3. Rotate and remove filter
4. Clear any debris and rinse the filter
5. Reinstall filter securely and run a test drain cycle

Technician Only Inspect/replace drain pump

1. Disconnect all power and water
2. Remove access panel to reach the drain pump
3. Check for blockages in pump and inlet/outlet ports and test pump operation
4. Replace the pump if impeller or motor is faulty

Parts needed: drain pump assembly, hose clamps

Technician Only Verify and correct drain hose installation

1. Check hose routing and height meets Electrolux specifications
2. Measure correct drain hose insertion depth into standpipe or sink
3. Reposition hose and secure connections
