DIY Fix Empty and Check the Condensate Water Tank

1. Turn off and unplug the dryer.
2. Remove the water/condensate tank completely.
3. Empty all water into a sink or drain.
4. Rinse the tank if necessary and ensure no lint/fibers are obstructing it.
5. Re‑insert the tank fully until it clicks.
6. Plug in and restart a drying cycle to see if E3 clears.

DIY Fix Clean Float/Sensor Area

1. After emptying the tank, inspect the float sensor area on the tank and in the dryer.
2. Remove any lint or debris that might jam the float.
3. Ensure float moves freely and isn’t stuck in the ‘full’ position.
4. Reassemble and test if the error clears.

Technician Only Inspect and Service Pump/Sensor Circuit

1. Disconnect power and access the condensate pump and float switch wiring.
2. Test the float switch and water level sensor for correct operation with a multimeter.
3. Check the pump and drainage channel for blockages or mechanical faults.
4. Replace any faulty sensor, switch, or pump component.
5. Verify wiring integrity between the sensor/pump and control board.
