DIY Fix Check for water in base and immediate leak signs

1. Unplug the washing machine and turn off water supply.
2. Carefully inspect the floor around and under the washer for water.
3. If your model has a base pan tray, gently lift or slide the washer to check for water collected beneath.
4. Wipe up any visible water.

DIY Fix Inspect accessible hoses and connections

1. Check the inlet and drain hose connections at the back of the washer for signs of leakage.
2. Ensure hoses are securely clamped and not cracked, kinked, or loose.
3. If visible water is found on hoses, consider tightening clamps or replacing damaged hoses.

Technician Only Check and repair internal components and flood sensor

1. Remove the machine’s access panels to inspect beneath the drum and base pan.
2. Check the flood sensor float and wiring for faults or stuck conditions.
3. Inspect internal hoses, seals, clamps, and drain pump for leaks.
4. Repair or replace defective parts as needed.

Parts needed: Flood/leak detection sensor, Inlet drain hoses, Seals and gaskets, Drain pump or pan tray (if damaged)
