1. Turn off power and water to the dishwasher.
2. Locate and inspect the drain hose for kinks, bends, or blockages.
3. Straighten hose if kinked and flush through with water if possible.
4. Reinstall hose ensuring proper routing to the sink drain or disposal.
5. Test by running a drain-only cycle.

Technician Only Examine and service drain pump and impeller

1. Disconnect dishwasher from power and water supply.
2. Remove access panels to reach the drain pump assembly.
3. Inspect pump impeller and housing for trapped debris or worn parts.
4. Clean or replace defective components.
