DIY Fix Basic checks and reset

1. Unplug the dryer from mains power for at least 2 minutes to reset electronics (if display uses stored errors).
2. Ensure lint filters and any venting are clean to improve airflow.
3. Restart the dryer with an empty load to see if the F08 code returns.

Technician Only Diagnosis and component testing

1. With power disconnected, measure heating element continuity with a multimeter; replace if open or outside spec.
2. Test thermostats/thermal cut‑outs and any thermal sensors for correct continuity and replace faulty parts.
3. Inspect wiring harnesses and connectors in the heating circuit for damage, corrosion, or mis‑connections.
4. Check control board outputs/relays controlling the heater; replace board if evidence shows failure.
