DIY Fix Power cycle and basic checks

1. Turn off the oven and unplug it from power or switch off the breaker.
2. Wait several minutes and restore power to see if the error clears.
3. Visually inspect the oven interior for obvious signs of sensor or wiring damage.

Technician Only Inspect and replace temperature sensor

1. Disconnect power to the oven at the breaker.
2. Remove the rear panel or access panel to locate the oven temperature sensor.
3. Test the temperature sensor with a multimeter for proper resistance at room temperature.
4. Inspect wiring harness and connections for damage or loose contacts and repair as needed.
5. Replace the sensor if values are out of specification or wiring is compromised.

Parts needed: Oven temperature sensor, Wire harness/connectors (if damaged)

Technician Only Control board evaluation

1. If sensor and wiring check normal, inspect the electronic oven control board for signs of heat damage or failed components.
2. Run diagnostics with appropriate tools to determine if control board misreads sensor signals.
3. Replace control board if faulty.
