DIY Fix Check and clean dishwasher filters and drain path

1. Turn off and unplug the dishwasher or switch off at the breaker for safety.
2. Remove and clean the filter(s) at the bottom of the dishwasher.
3. Check and clear the sump area of food debris or foreign objects.
4. Inspect the drain hose for kinks or blockages; clear if necessary.
5. Reconnect and run a short drain/rinse cycle to see if the code clears.

Technician Only Inspect drain pump and sensors

1. Verify continuity and operation of the drain pump; clear any blockage at the impeller.
2. Test the pressure sensor / water level switch for proper operation.
3. Check wiring harness connections for corrosion or disconnection.
4. If components fail diagnostics, replace drain pump or pressure sensor as appropriate.
