DIY Fix Check for basic sensor / cooling issues

1. Consult your specific Simpson refrigerator model’s user manual for any listed error codes.
2. If safe, power‑cycle the refrigerator by unplugging it for 5–10 minutes and then plugging it back in, to see if the code clears.
3. Ensure the interior is not overfilled and that airflow inside the fridge is unobstructed.
4. Check that doors are closing properly and that there is no heavy frost buildup inside.

Technician Only Inspect temperature sensors and control electronics

1. Using the refrigerator’s model and serial number, check for any official Simpson service documentation or reach out to Simpson support directly for error code definitions and parts diagrams.
2. Test relevant temperature sensors (thermistors) for continuity with a multimeter.
3. Inspect wiring harnesses and connections between sensors and the control board for loose or damaged leads.
4. Check the main control board for obvious signs of heat damage or component failure.
