Troubleshooting Steps

1. Step 1: Check the drain filter for debris

   Locate the drain filter at the bottom front of the washer. Open the access door and unscrew the filter cap. Remove any debris and clean the filter under running water.

   Make sure to have a bucket ready to catch any water.

2. Step 2: Inspect the drain hose for kinks

   Follow the drain hose from the back of the washer to the drain. Ensure it is not kinked or pinched, and that it is properly connected to the drain.

   If the hose is damaged, consider replacing it.

3. Step 3: Test the drain pump

   With the washer empty, run a spin cycle and listen for the drain pump. If you hear no sound, the pump may be faulty and require replacement.

   You can also check for blockages in the pump itself.

4. Step 4: Check for clogs in the drain line

   Disconnect the drain hose from the wall and inspect it for clogs. Use a plumber's snake if necessary to clear any blockages.

   Ensure the hose is clear before reattaching.

5. Step 5: Run a test cycle

   After performing the checks and repairs, run a short wash cycle to ensure the error code does not reappear.

   Monitor for any unusual sounds or leaks.
