DIY Fix Check and clean drain filter

1. Turn the steam oven off and disconnect power if safe to do so.
2. Locate the floor drain filter at the bottom of the oven compartment.
3. Remove and inspect the filter for debris or buildup.

5. Reinsert the filter correctly, ensuring the curve points upward.
6. Power on the oven and check if F196 clears.

DIY Fix Inspect drain hose installation

1. Turn off the steam oven and disconnect power if applicable.
2. Locate the water drain hose beneath the oven.
3. Ensure the hose is laid flat without kinks, loops, or rolls.
4. Adjust the hose routing so it lies straight on the floor in the base area.
5. Power on the oven and test operation to see if the issue persists.

Technician Only Service inspection of drain pump and internal drainage path

1. Disconnect the steam oven from electrical power.
2. Remove access panels to reach the internal drain pump and hose connections.
3. Inspect the drain pump for mechanical faults or debris blockage.
4. Check the reed switch or float switch associated with the pump to confirm correct operation.
5. Clear obstructions or replace the drain pump assembly if faulty.
6. Reassemble and test oven drainage.
7. Verify software settings and perform updates if recommended by manufacturer.
