DIY Fix Basic power reset and sensor inspection

1. Disconnect oven from power (unplug or breaker off) for 5–10 minutes.
2. After power down, reconnect and see if F1 clears.
3. Visually check inside oven for obvious damage to temperature sensor and its wiring (no power involved).

Technician Only Test and replace temperature sensor

1. Disconnect power and access the oven’s back or inner cavity to locate the temperature sensor.
2. Use a multimeter to measure sensor resistance.
3. If resistance is outside expected range, replace the sensor and reassemble.
4. Restore power and test oven.
5. If sensor tests good but error persists, proceed to control board evaluation.

Parts needed: Oven temperature sensor (RTD)

Technician Only Inspect/replace the electronic control board

1. Disconnect power and remove control panel to access the electronic control board.
2. Inspect the board for burn marks or failed components.
3. Use multimeter to test relevant circuits if trained.
4. Replace the control board with OEM replacement if confirmed faulty.
5. Reassemble and test functionality.
