DIY Fix Check for leaks and clear flood tray

1. Turn off dishwasher and power supply
2. Remove toe-kick panel and inspect base/flood tray for moisture or standing water
3. Dry the area thoroughly with towels or a wet/dry vacuum
4. Check for common leak sources such as loose drain hose connections or plumbing leaks

DIY Fix Inspect and reset sensor

1. Locate the leak/flood sensor or float switch near base pan
2. Check for debris or misalignment that could falsely trigger sensor
3. Gently clean around sensor and ensure float moves freely
4. Restore power and attempt to run a cycle to see if error clears

Technician Only Service leak/flood sensor and sump assembly

1. Disconnect appliance from power and water
2. Remove dishwasher from cabinetry if needed
3. Test leak sensor and related wiring for proper function
4. If sensor or float switch is faulty, replace the component
5. Inspect sump assembly for leaks or moisture intrusion and replace if necessary
