DIY Fix Power reset of the cooktop

1. Turn off power to the cooktop at the circuit breaker.
2. Leave power off for at least one minute.
3. Turn the circuit breaker back on.
4. Monitor the cooktop for at least one minute to see if F60 returns.

Technician Only Inspect and repair user interface and wiring

1. Verify model and disconnect power at the breaker.
2. Remove access panels to inspect touchpad/user interface connections.
3. Check for loose, damaged or corroded wiring between the user interface and main control.
4. Test the functionality of the touchpad and replace if faulty.
5. Inspect control board connections and wiring harnesses for continuity.
6. Reassemble and test cooktop operation.

Parts needed: User interface (touchpad) assembly, Wiring harness, Connectors

Technician Only Diagnose control board or temperature sensor (if F60 persists)

1. With power disconnected, access control board and temperature sensors.
2. Test sensor/resistance and control board inputs for faults using a multimeter.
3. Replace defective control board or sensor if tests indicate failure.
4. Reassemble and restore power, then verify error resolution.
