DIY Fix Initial basic checks and reset

1. Turn the washing machine off and unplug it from the mains for at least 5–10 minutes, then plug it back in and try restarting the cycle.
2. Check that the door/lid is fully closed and latched securely.
3. Ensure the load is balanced and not overloaded.
4. Check that hoses (water in and out) are properly connected and not kinked.

Technician Only Detailed service diagnostics

1. Use a service diagnostic tool or access the washer’s built‑in diagnostic mode (if available) to read internal fault registers.
2. Inspect door lock mechanism / interlock sensor for communication faults.
3. Check wiring harnesses and connections between control board and door lock/sensors.
4. Verify motor and control board for communication errors or faults.
