DIY Fix Empty Water Tank and Restart

1. Turn off the air conditioner and unplug from power.
2. Locate the water collection tank or drain plug at the base of the unit.
3. Carefully remove and empty the water tank or open the drain to let water out.
4. Reinstall the tank or close the drain securely and plug the unit back in.
5. Turn the unit on and verify the FL code clears.

DIY Fix Check and Clean Drainage Path

1. After emptying the tank, check for debris or blockages in the drain hole or condensate lines.
2. Use a soft brush or cloth to clear any visible clogging.
3. Ensure the unit is placed on a level surface so water drains correctly.
4. Restart the unit and monitor if FL returns.

Technician Only Inspect Float Switch and Drain Components

1. Check the float switch and associated wiring for proper operation.
2. Inspect internal drain tray and condensate pump (if present) for mechanical blockages or failures.
3. Test that the float mechanism correctly resets after draining.
