DIY Fix Check for water in base and dry out

1. Turn off and unplug the dishwasher
2. Remove lower kick panel to inspect the base pan for water
3. If water is present, carefully dry up with towels or a sponge
4. Ensure the area is dry before restarting

DIY Fix Inspect and correct drain hose installation

1. Pull the dishwasher out and locate the drain hose
2. Ensure the drain hose is not kinked or crushed
3. Verify that the drain hose is installed at correct height and not inserted too far into the drain outlet
4. Remove any visible blockages from the hose

Technician Only Inspect and service drainage components

1. Disconnect power and water supply
2. Remove and clean the drain pump and filter assembly
3. Test the drain pump for proper operation
4. Replace the drain pump or hose if damaged

Parts needed: Drain pump, Drain hose, Filter assembly

Technician Only Inspect overflow sensor/float switch

1. Disconnect power
2. Access the base pan to locate the float switch or leak detection sensor
3. Test sensor continuity with multimeter
4. Replace sensor if defective
