DIY Fix Basic drainage checks and cleaning

1. Turn off and unplug the dishwasher before inspecting.
2. Remove and clean the drain filter at the bottom of the dishwasher.
3. Check for visible food debris or residue that could block drainage.
4. Inspect the drain hose for kinks or visible obstructions; straighten if necessary.
5. Run a short drain or rinse cycle after cleaning to test if water now drains properly.

Technician Only Advanced inspection and component testing

1. Disconnect and remove the drain hose to test water flow and clear internal blockages.
2. Access and inspect the drain pump for debris or mechanical failure; test pump operation.
3. Test the pressure sensor/pressure switch and associated tubing for correct readings.
4. Verify proper routing and connection of all drain system components.
5. Replace defective parts (drain pump, hose, pressure sensor) as needed.
