DIY Fix Check for external water leak and remove water from base

1. Turn off and unplug the machine and shut off water supply.
2. Place towels/newspaper at machine base to catch water.
3. Tilt the machine backwards slightly and hold for 30–40 seconds to drain water from bottom tray as per official guidance.
4. Check inlet hose connections and door seal for visible leaks.
5. Reconnect and try a wash cycle.

DIY Fix Verify door closure and latch

1. Ensure nothing (clothing, debris) is caught in the door seal preventing full closure.
2. Close the door firmly and listen for a solid ‘click’ indicating latch engages.
3. Try starting a cycle after ensuring proper door closure.
4. If E30 persists, note whether the door feels loose or unlatched often.

Technician Only Inspect and repair internal leak sources and Aqua Control system

1. Disconnect and remove outer panels.
2. Inspect hoses, seals, and water inlet for leaks that may be letting water into the base.
3. Check the flood detector/Aqua Control float switch and wiring.
4. Repair or replace leaking hoses/seals or faulty sensor components.

Parts needed: Door seal, Inlet hoses, Flood sensor/Aqua Control switch, Clamps and hose connectors

Technician Only Replace faulty door lock/interlock assembly

1. Diagnose door lock signals with multimeter to confirm fault.
2. Remove and replace the door lock/interlock mechanism and associated wiring.
3. Test operation to ensure door status is correctly detected.
4. Reassemble panels and verify error resolution.
