DIY Fix Basic checks and reset

1. Disconnect power to the oven (unplug or turn off circuit breaker) for 5–10 minutes to reset error code
2. Ensure oven door is fully closed and nothing obstructs the cavity
3. After reset, attempt to preheat and observe if F02 returns

Technician Only Inspect and test oven temperature sensor and control

1. Turn off power at the breaker and verify isolation
2. Access oven interior to locate the temperature sensor (usually at the back wall)
3. Check that sensor is mounted securely and not physically damaged
4. With power still off, test sensor resistance with a multimeter
5. Inspect wiring and connector between sensor and control board for continuity and secure connection
6. If sensor readings are out of range or intermittent, replace temperature sensor
7. If sensor tests normal but F02 persists, test and calibrate or replace the electronic oven control board
