DIY Fix Perform basic checks and power reset

1. Turn off and disconnect power to the oven (unplug or turn off circuit breaker).
2. Wait 5–10 minutes and restore power to see if the F3 code clears.
3. Observe if the oven behaves normally after the reset.

Technician Only Inspect and replace oven temperature sensor

1. With power off, locate the oven temperature sensor (usually mounted on the back wall of the oven).
2. Use a multimeter to measure sensor resistance at room temperature; expected ~1085–1097 ohms (model dependent).
3. Check continuity of wiring from sensor to control board.
4. Replace sensor if resistance is out of expected range or if wiring/connectors are damaged.

Parts needed: oven temperature sensor (RTD), potential wiring harness/connectors

Technician Only Diagnose and repair control board if sensor and wiring are good

1. Verify sensor and wiring integrity.
2. Test control board inputs/outputs related to the temperature sensing circuit.
3. Repair or replace the electronic oven control board if diagnostics indicate failure.
