DIY Fix Basic preliminary checks

1. Power off the oven and disconnect from power source.
2. Visually inspect the oven temperature sensor located inside the oven cavity for obvious damage.
3. Check that wiring connections between the sensor and control board are secure and free from corrosion.

Technician Only Test and replace faulty sensor or repair wiring

1. Disconnect oven power and access temperature sensor and wiring harness.
2. Measure resistance of the oven temperature sensor with a multimeter; compare to expected values (typically ~1080 ohms at room temperature).
3. If sensor shows open or out-of-spec resistance, replace it with correct RTD sensor for model.
4. If sensor is good, test continuity of wiring harness and repair any breaks or corrosion.
5. If wiring and sensor both test good yet F3 persists, test control board sensor input circuit and replace control board if necessary.
