DIY Fix Check basic electrical connection and power conditions

1. Ensure the induction hob is connected to the correct supply voltage as per your regional electrical standards.
2. Visually inspect the power cord and plug (if accessible) for obvious damage.
3. If you observe obvious wiring damage or are unsure of the supply voltage, do not attempt internal repairs; proceed to contact a professional electrician.

Technician Only Verify supply voltage and correct wiring

1. Turn off and isolate power to the hob at the distribution board.
2. Use a multimeter to measure the supply voltage at the hob’s connection point to confirm correct voltage (e.g., 230 V).
3. Inspect the supply wiring to ensure correct phase, neutral, and earth connections, and that there is no miswiring.
4. Check the hob’s internal connections to the terminal block for secure, correct seating.
5. Restore power and test operation once correct supply and wiring are confirmed.
