DIY Fix Power cycle and basic inspection

1. Turn off power to the oven at the circuit breaker for ~1 minute and restore power to clear transient errors.
2. Visually inspect the oven temperature sensor inside the oven for obvious damage or loose wires.
3. Ensure the sensor’s connector at the control board is fully seated.

Technician Only Test and replace oven temperature sensor

1. Disconnect power and access the oven temperature sensor (usually at the rear wall of the oven cavity).
2. Use a multimeter to measure the sensor’s resistance at room temperature.
3. If resistance is open, infinite, or outside specified range, replace the sensor.
4. Verify wiring continuity between sensor and control board; repair any damaged wires.

Parts needed: Oven temperature sensor, multimeter for diagnostics

Technician Only Diagnose and repair control board issue

1. If sensor and wiring test good but F3 persists, test the control board’s sensor input circuitry according to service manual procedures.
2. Replace control board if sensor input circuit is confirmed faulty.
3. After replacement, verify proper oven function and absence of error.
4. Ensure all connections are secure and wiring intact.
